Billy Louis Coons

Billy Louis Coons of Columbia passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence. Billy was born on February 22, 1932 to the late Charlie and Allie Coons in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Billy was a brick layer for thirty-five years and was of the Church of Christ faith. He was described as the best daddy in the world by his daughter, Lisa.

Billy was a one of a kind, wonderful man. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Billy was deeply loved by many and will definitely be missed by many as well.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 12:00PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include Daughters, Lisa Mullins (Jeffery Geddes) and Janette Coons; sisters, Alma Coons, Liz Coons, and Mildred Cason; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Cole, Jamie Cole, Shannon Cole, Sarah Cole, and Jacob Mullins; Great Granchildren, Maycie and Cameron Cammuse, and Braxton Cole. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Coons.
