Billy "Wayne" Attkisson

Billy “Wayne” Attkisson, age 71, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away at Columbia Life Care on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Wayne was born March 8, 1944 in Columbia, Tennessee. He retired from UCAR.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle (Jason) O’Guin of Centerville; sisters Martha (Jerry) McNeece of Mt. Pleasant and Sheila (Tommy) May of Columbia; grandchildren Kyla O’Guin and Carter O’Guin of Centerville; and niece Kristy (Larry) Brown and nephew Randy (Lisa) McNeece.
He was preceded in death by his parents the late Eldon Attkisson and Viola Waldrop Attkisson.
The family will receive family and friends at Williams Funeral home in Mt. Pleasant on Friday, April 10, 2015 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. and the funeral services will follow. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Charles Thompson, Robby McNeece, Wesley McNeece, Dakota Brown, Larry Brown, and Brent Cummins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Kim and the staff of Columbia Life Care and his private sitter Lynn.
