Catharine Louise "Cathy" Bouchard
October 26, 1959 — August 24, 2016
Cathy Bouchard, 56, born in Flint, MI on October 26, 1959 passed away peacefully in her sleep with her devoted dog, Pierre by her side on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
Cathy was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a graduate of the class ‘77of Lakewood High School in Lake Odessa, Michigan. In 1978 she became the devoted and loving mother of Christina Marie as well as beginning her career with General Motors. In 1989 she came to Spring Hill, TN for the launch of the Saturn Corp. Cathy was very active with the UAW Local 1853 and the CAP Committee, along with the Democratic Party.
In 2005 Cathy became the proud grammy to Timothy Paul “Pie” and in 2008 to Isabella Marie “Sweet tart”. Cathy was a very social woman who always found time to spend and help friends and family. She will be missed greatly.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother: Marie Agnes Vezina and sister, Laurie Salas. She is survived by her daughter: Christina Bouchard; grandchildren: Timothy “Pie” Bouchard-Woods and Isabella “Sweet tart” Bouchard; siblings: Harold Bouchard, Yvonne (Brent) Clark, Lynda (Danny) Pike, Robert “Bob” (Leslie) Kozachik, Brenda (Allen) Savage, Cecelia Bouchard and Wanda Davids; numerous nieces and nephews; and step-father: Steve Kozachik.
A funeral service for Ms. Bouchard will be held on Monday, August 29 at 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 28 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
