Cathy Anne Dial Gifford, age 64, of Culleoka, passed away on July 16, 2016.
Cathy was born on August 21, 1951 in Columbia, Tennessee to W. Robert Dial and Katherine Hamlett Dial. She was a graduate of Culleoka High School and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She especially loved visiting her daughter’s home, helping out as much as she could. She also loved having her granddaughter Ariana over for visits at her own house. They enjoyed spending time together going through old family pictures together, as well as looking through grandpa’s tools and other things from the “old days”. She also spent time in the kitchen with Ariana, cooking with her and teaching her how to cook herself. They enjoyed being together so much.
Cathy is survived by her daughter: Lee Anne (Heriberto) deYanez of Columbia; grandchildren: Ariana, Analea and Ava Yanez; and her five brothers: Bobby (Joan) Dial, Billy (Barbara) Dial, Don (Judy) Dial, James M. “Jimmy” Dial and Charles (Laura) Dial. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Scott Zimmerlee who was born on March 5, 1973.
The family will celebrate Ms. Gifford’s life with a memorial service at a later date.
