Darryl Albert Hammer, age 74, of Waynesboro, Tennessee passed away at Wayne Medical Center on April 5, 2014.
Darryl was born on October 31, 1939 to the late David Robert and Sarah Dulgar Hammer in Rose Hill, Illinois. On August 11, 1965 he married the former Patsy Robinette of Kissimmee, FL and they shared 48 years together. He also served honorably for 3 years in the United States Army. Darryl was a baker by trade.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Tad Hammer of Georgia and grandchildren: Meagan Nichole Hammer of Colorado, Lauryl Michelle Vanvectar of Georgia, Kathryn Hammer of Georgia and Robert Griffin of Tennessee.
The family will celebrate Darryl’s life with private services at a later date.
