Dionne Marie Ewald Cross, age 45, of Summertown, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Dionne was born on October 28, 1969 in Santa Ana, California to Fredrick Ewald and Irene Nevarez. She married James Cross on November 30, 1989. Dionne loved her husband, children, and her family. One of her greatest memories was the time she spent as a child on the mission field in Mexico. Dionne loved animals and the outdoors; her passion was to become a veterinarian. She was a member of New Life Church and most of all, Dionne loved her Lord.

A memorial service to celebrate Dionne’s life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at New Life Church in Columbia, Tennessee with Darryl Martin, James Prentice, and Glenn Floyd officiating. Inurnment will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Dionne is survived by her husband James William Cross of Summertown; parents Fredrick and Irene Ewald; son Devan Ryan Cross of Columbia; and daughter Desiree Loryn Cross of Summertown.

Dionne was preceded in death by her granddaughter Rylee Brooke Cross.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Moore family for her care and support.
