Dora Jewell Mosley

Dora Jewell Mosley, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Jewell was born on January 10, 1933 to the late Willie Claude Anderson and Bessie Bee Anderson in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Jewell married Mr. William Copeland Mosley Sr. on February 28, 1953 and they shared a wonderful life together for thirty-three years until his passing. Jewell had a love of many things including cooking, crocheting, her favorite soap operas, but most of all her family and her extended family in Hohenwald. She enjoyed any form of shopping, her home, yard and flowers. Jewell and Ms. Helen Davis were lifelong friends for over 60 years.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee with Bud Chumbley officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Jewell is survived by her daughters Tricia (John) Siegfied of Nashville, Tennessee, Judy (Wilbur) Kersey of Orlando and Shawn (Greg) Machuta of Spring Hill, Tennessee; sons Rick (Gayle) Mosley of Nashville, Tennessee, Bill (Pam) Mosley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Spencer (Jennifer) Mosley of La Vergne, Tennessee; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; five nephews; three nieces; and special friends and neighbors Bob and Shari Till.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband William Copeland Mosley Sr.; parents Willie Claude and Bessie Bee Anderson; and sisters Eva Hensley and Lorraine McClain.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hensley, Jackie Taylor, Randy Goodwin, Donnie Underwood, Steve Underwood, and Greg Machuta.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Joey Hensley, John Siegfied, and Wilber Kersey.
Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
