Douglas Arnold Embler, age 70, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his residence.
Doug was born on March 12, 1945, the son of Cynthia Runions Embler and Griff Embler. He worked for over forty years for Mac and Linda Whiteside. Douglas was a very hard worker and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.
Douglas is survived by his brother: Dan Embler of Hampshire; sisters-in-law: Fay Embler and Teresa Embler; 9 nieces and 9 nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cynthia and Griff Embler; sisters: Reba Nell Sanders and Vera Louise McIntire; and brothers: Jack Embler. Farris Embler and Larry Embler.
A memorial service for Mr. Embler will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
