Faye Elizabeth Childers, age 81, passed away on Saturday January 24, 2015, at Life Care Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Faye was born on July 12, 1933 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Robert Yates and Mary Yates. Faye married Bernard Childers and they shared a life together until his passing in 2001. Faye deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation to celebrate Faye’s life on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Rev. Jeff Kane officiating.
Faye is survived by her sons Jerry M. (Michele) Childers of Columbia, Tennessee and Terry (Kristy) Childers of Bellville, Michigan; daughter Lisa (Eric) Graves of Columbia, Tennessee; grandson Eric (Sara) Graves II of Columbia, Tennessee; granddaughters Elizabeth Williams of Columbia, Tennessee, Emily (David) Rochester of Columbia, Tennessee, Morgan (Josh) Schmech, and Brittany Taylor of Westland, Michigan; and ten great-grandchildren.
