Gail Ann Brawner Meigs

Gail Ann Brawner Meigs, age 61, of Summertown passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Gail was born on October 5, 1955 to the late Raymond Brawner and Dorothy Cooper Brawner in Niles, Michigan.

Gail was a very strong, kind, funny, and generous woman. She has fought MS for 35 years and was an inspiration to many. She was also a member of the Summertown Church of Christ. Gail loved her family more than anything and never let anything get in her way.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant from 4:00-7:00PM. A celebration of life service will follow at the Saddle and Bridle Club in Summertown beginning at 7:30 PM.

Gail is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Meigs; Sons, Ron (Ally) Meigs and Rob (Brecca) Meigs; Grandchildren, Chase, Alex, Logan, and Brody Meigs; Brothers, Barry (Nancy) Brawner, Tony Brawner, Jerry (Lori Green) Brawner and David (Karan) Brawner; Sisters, Brenda (Randy) Fox and Jenny Moore; Brother in Law, Andy Meigs; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Mother and Father in Law, Travis and Dot Meigs; Sister in law, Jane Brawner; Brother in law, Eddie Meigs; and Neice, Amy Brawner.
