Henry Emanuel Bray

June 10, 1947 — September 16, 2017

Henry Emanuel Bray, age 70, of Columbia, passed away on September 16, 2017 in Columbia, Tennessee.

Henry was the son of Anna Bell Bray Scott and was born in Virginia on June 10, 1947. Henry was an employee of Tennessee Valley Packing Company and had also worked at Porter Walker. He was a Christian and a member of House of Prayer Baptist Church. He enjoyed helping out around the church building and was considered family by the members of the congregation. He was a loving son and always took care of his mother until her passing in 2009. He loved horses and cared for his 32 year old horse, Firecracker, daily. In general he loved all God's creatures, even caring for the stray cats at the horse barn. Sadly, Firecracker had passed away a few weeks before Henry.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Bray on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at House of Prayer Baptist Church, with Bro. Phillip Mansfield officiating. Henry will be interred in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion, Virginia at a later date, and will be laid to rest beside his Mother.

In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to House of Prayer Baptist Church, 103 Morningside Lane, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
