Ina Lovell, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Ina was born to the late Jim Cecil Wiley Odom and Margaret Christine “Dolly” Davis Odom in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee on February 9, 1944. Ina was married to Ricky Gene Lovell and they shared a wonderful life together. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved making a home for everyone and taking care of her grandchildren. Ina was a CNA for ten years. Ina enjoyed watching racing, especially Jeff Gordon, and being in the stands at Thunderhill Raceway. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. A service to celebrate the life of Ina will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Vernon Brooks and Rick Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Ina is survived by her husband Ricky Gene Lovell of Mt. Pleasant; son Gary (Debbie) Gray of Mt. Pleasant; daughters Sherry (Lee) Howell and Janice (Matt) Verstreet both of Mt. Pleasant; grandsons Patrick Gray and Brandon (Brittany) Howell; granddaughters Makayla Howell, Savannah Verstreet, and Sierra Verstreet; great grand-grandchildren Skylar Gray and Landon Gray; sisters Betty Gray and Kathy Skora; and brother Buford Odom.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents Jim Cecil Wiley Odom and Margaret Christine “Dolly” Davis Odom, brother Felix Odom, brother in law James Gray and sister in law Shirley Odom.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Gray, Brandon Howell, Buddy Odom, Phil Counts, Joey Odom, and Dewayne Gray.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Makayla Howell, Savannah Verstreet, Sierra Verstreet, Landon Gray, Skylar Gray, Justin “Cookie” Cook, and Timmy Gray.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for the care given to Ina from Pam Holland with Caris Healthcare, Stephanie Gray with Maury Regional EMS, and her friends at Mt. Pleasant Fire Department.
