Jerry Lavonne Cribbs, age 71, of Lawrenceburg passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 21, 1944 in Ruskin, FL.
Jerry was a retired mechanic that worked on cars for many years. He was a very humble, kind, and sweet man. Jerry loved his family and also loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Highland Methodist Church in Waynesboro, TN and had a strong belief in Jesus.
Jerry is survived by his loving companion of 20 years Ellen Crittendon; son, Simon Cribbs; grandson, Cameron Cribbs, and three sisters, Carolyn Cribbs Roberts, Martha Cribbs Ratliff, and Lilly Cribbs Lampton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee Cribbs and Myrtice Moseley Cribbs, his son, Jerry L. Cribbs, Jr. and his brother, Richard Dennis Cribbs.
