Kristen Marie Poirier

Kristen Marie Poirier of Columbia passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her residence. Kristen was born to Lee Anne Bonczek Millen and to the late Kenneth Arthur Poirier on July 19, 1984 in Putnam, CT.

Kristen loved her family and always made sure they were number one in her life. Her kids were very special to her and loved to spend time with them. Kristen had a big heart filled with kindness and forgiveness. “Peanut” is what her parents always called her. She will be remembered as virtuous woman and always taking care of others. Most recently, Kristen had taken a passion for raising a garden and enjoyed watching her flowers and peppers grow.

Kristen is survived by her fiancé, Dan Meyer; Children, Haley Comeau, Conner Comeau, Kayelin Meyer, Ava Meyer, and Leah Meyer; Mother, Lee Ann Millen; Sister, Mary Poirier Nipper; Grandparents, Virginia and Ronald Bonczek; Mother in law, Linda Muhle; Father in law, Bob Meyer; and great aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Columbia. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
