Lawrence Patrick Shearn

Lawrence Patrick "Larry" Shearn began his new journey on July 21, 2015 at the age of 61. He spent his early years in Levittown, PA, married and relocated to Tennessee where he planted his family roots. He retired from General Motors in 2009 allowing him to concentrate on the career he cherished most, being Mr. Mom. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and was one of the handiest men to ever walk the earth.

Larry was the son of the late Lawrence Robert and Anne Shearn, and the brother of the late Michael Shearn. He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife Tricia and their son Nicholas. Larry is also survived by his sister Colleen Harris and several nieces and nephews.

Education was very important to Larry so the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Zion Christian Academy Student Scholarship Fund, 6901 Old Zion Road, Columbia TN 38401.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 3019 Cayce Ln, Columbia, TN 38401 with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. The family will gather with friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the mass.
