Lois Amelia O’Malley, age 80, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 29, 2016, at NHC Columbia.
Amelia was born December 30, 1935 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Styles and Helen Raquet Styles. She was the wife of 56 years of Edward O’Malley of Columbia. Amelia had worked in the retail industry as a customer service representative. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Graveside services for Mrs. O’Malley will be conducted Friday, December 2, at 1:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Susan O’malley of Columbia; one brother, Robert (JoAnn) Styles of Ohio and one sister, Jane Loveridge of Ohio; several nieces and nephews as well as her best friend, Dina Martin and her family. In addition to her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Charles Styles.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
