Lyle Talbott Worsham

Lyle Talbott Worsham, age 82, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
Lyle was born May 6, 1935 in Gretna, VA, the son of the late Edwin Francis Worsham and Janie Talbott Worsham Doss. He was the husband of Ruby Brown Worsham for 64 years. Lyle retired from Monsanto Chemical Company. Upon retirement, Mr. Worsham became an accomplished rose grower and was certified as a Master Rosarian by the National Rose Society. His rose garden was featured on the Rose Society Tour. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Worsham is survived by his daughter Debbie Worsham (John) Coleman and son, Lyle Stephen Worsham; grandchildren, Carole Anne Coleman and Luke Stephen Worsham and great-grandson, Jay Christian Talbott Coleman; sisters-in-law, Linda Lowe, Sharon Bailey and Sheila Register.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 during a reception on the outdoor patio of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, followed by a Celebration of Life with Henry C. Webster presiding.
