Ray Lynn Piearce, age 54, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Ray was born on April 5, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to the late James Shelton Piearce and Juanita Weeks Piearce. Ray married Debbie Ellen Krosch on January 20, 1992. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family, from get togethers to family fish fries. He enjoyed sports, especially with his children. Ray loved taking trips to Texas to visit family. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker. Ray was a craftsman and he spent years both building and designing as a carpenter.
Ray is survived by his loving wife Debbie Piearce of Columbia; sons Jeffrey Lynn Piearce of Texas, Jason Michael Piearce of Texas, Christopher Lynn Piearce of Columbia, and Colby Taylor Piearce of Tennessee; daughter Shelby Lynn Piearce of Columbia; grandchildren Austin Layne Piearce, Jordan Michael Piearce, Crystal Lynn Piearce, Candice Lynn Piearce, Jaxson Lynn Piearce, and was expecting new grandson River Mason Holland in July 2015; sister Barbara Ashford; brother Wayne Piearce; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents James and Juanita Piearce, brothers Ricky Piearce and Randy Lynn Piearce, and sister Teresa Ann Piearce.
The family will visit with friends at the Holiday Inn Express Columbia on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
