Willomae Hamilton

Willomae Hamilton, age 77, of Mount Pleasant, TN passed away at her home surrounded by her family on October 30, 2017.

Willomae was born on January 18, 1940 to Spurgeon and Beatrice Taylor. She graduated in 1958 from Haylong High School in Mount Pleasant, TN. Following graduation in November of 1958 she married the late Jimmy Hamilton. Willomae loved to spend time outside, she loved to do yard work, garden, tend to her flowers and plant trees. Mrs. Hamilton worked in the Environmental Sciences Department at Maury Regional Medical Center for over a decade. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and loved her Church family. Most of all, Willomae loved her family.

She leaves behind her Daughters: Betty Ann Hamilton and Gwendolyn King; Son: James Taylor (Darlene) Hamilton; Grandsons: Andrew King and Jonathan King and Granddaughter: Ashlee King.

The Family will visit with friends on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southside Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, TN.

Pallbearers are Denton Crews, Steven Shewbart, Robert Jandreau, Michael Parham, Jonathan King and Michael Boshers. Honorary Pallbearers include the Maury Regional Environmental Services Department as well as members of Southside Baptist Church.
