Amanda Nychol Walters

Amanda Nychol Walters, age 41, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, in her home in Santa Fe, Tennessee.
Amanda was born on November 1, 1980, in Columbia, Tennessee to Anita Walters and the late Ivan Leon Walters.
Amanda loved all eras of television shows and enjoyed all types of music. Amanda’s favorite hobby was creative writing and she excelled at it.
Amanda spent several years working in various departments at Kroger. She loved the time she spent working there and meeting new people. She enjoyed sharing all the customer interactions that she had experienced throughout the years with her family and friends.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father: Ivan Walters.
Amanda is survived by her mother: Anita Walters; sisters: Jenny Walters and Cuffey Walters; uncles: Chet (Reba) Chun and Richard Davis, Jr.; fellow employees at Kroger; numerous cousins; and her 7 cats.
The family wishes to thank the paramedics, Maury County Sheriff's Department, and the Maury County Fire Department for their quick response.
A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Chet Chun officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to the start of the service.
