Ambers Church, age 84, passed away on March 19, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Ambers was born August 6, 1934 to the late Frank and Mamie Bolton Church. He was loved by all who knew him and always carried a tire gauge and crescent wrench with him…. just in case he needed to fix something. He was a loving husband, father and papaw. His hobbies were fishing and building furniture. He really enjoyed woodworking. He was often seen riding his 4-wheeler along the side of the road picking up cans.
Survivors include his wife: Edna Church; sons: William (Pam) Church, Steve (Tina) Church, Warren Church, Shannon Church, Wesley Pruitt, William (Teresa) Pruitt; daughters: Diane Jackson, Connie Burdette, Kathy Wagers, Karen Timte, Dawna Herrick, Terry (Donnie) Long; and twenty-seven grandchildren, many great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends: Linda Buchanan and Kathy Odom Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Shawn Church; daughter: Brenda Pruitt and great grandson: Cameron Green.
Services will be Thursday, March 21. 2019 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Randy Kersey officiating. Interment will follow at Blowing Springs Cemetery. Family will visit with friends on Thursday from noon until the service.
Pallbearers: William Church, Steve Church, Warren Church, Shannon Church, Josh Church, John Burdette and Rodney Burdette.
