Sue Jones, age 89, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at her home in Columbia, TN.
Annie Sue Jones was born in the Water Valley Community in Maury County, TN To the late Herbert and Eliza Potts Kelley. Sue was was raised here in the Maury County area a long time resident of both the Bear Creek and Riverside Communities. She worked for many years in the garment industry mostly with Publix Shirt Company. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister.
Sue is survived her daughter: Linda Brasher; siblings: Margaret Raymond and Harmon (Elsie) Kelley; sister-in-law: Rose Marie Sharp; 1 grandson; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Sue is preceded in death by her: husband: Herbert Dale Jones; daughter: Rose Dale Jones Woods; father: Herbert Kelley; mother: Eliza Potts Kelley; sisters: Clare Mae Coleman, Helen Himes, Jeannette Yowell, and Faye Kelley; and brother: J.C. Kelley.
The family will have a private family graveside at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.
