Betty Sue Beard Love, age 53, of Culleoka, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Betty was born on January 8, 1965 in Wichita, Kansas to Travis and Ruth Beard. She married Steven W. Love in 1985 and they had two children: Stevie Love and Trever Love. For her entire life, Betty courageously fought Muscular Distrophy. She loved to live, so she fought to live. She worked as a cook at NHC. One of her favorite past-times was watching Wheel of Fortune. One last thing that that her kids would like to tell her is, “You will always be in our thoughts, and we will always love you.”
Survivors include her husband: Steven W. Love of Culleoka; her two children: Stevie Love of Culleoka and Trever Love of Culleoka; grandchildren: Brooklyn and Brynnlee Love; siblings: Judy Green, Mary Johnson, Gwendol Roland, Wanda Mercer, and Jody Soto. She was preceded in death by her parents: Travis Beard and Ruth Wooten Beard; and siblings: Odell Beard, Dorothy Brooks, Delores Bradford, and Debbie Curry.
A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Vassar officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12 Noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.
