Bobby "Worm" West

Bobby Gene (Worm) West, age 69 went to be with the Lord, Sunday December 1, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center after battling with an extended illness. He was the son of the late Robert W. and Irene West.

Worm retired from working at Office Dimensions for many years as a maintenance man. He was an avid fan of the Mount Pleasant Tigers football team. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Worm is survived by 3 sisters: Gail West of Mt. Pleasant, Linda (Henry) Vaughn of Hampshire, TN, and Betty Upton of New Market, AL; A special Niece Michelle West whom he helped raise; brother: Joe R. West of Mt. Pleasant; 3 special nieces: Christy (Johnny) Kennedy, Ammy (Jordan) Hall, and Brandon (Jason) Miller; special nephew James (Pete) Vaughn of Hampshire, TN; and his K-9 companion Toby, and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Worm is preceded in death by 3 brothers: Melvin, Elvin, and Robert “Tater” West, Jr.

The family will visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, Mt Pleasant with Brother Tony Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, TN.

Pallbearers are: Johnny Kennedy, Henry Vaughn, James H. Vaughn, Jordan Hall, Roger Jones, and Stevie Nance.

Honorary Pallbearers are William (Tot) Roddy, Steve Jones, Ronnie Boshers, Steven Boshers, and Randy Boshers.
