Charles W. Perry, age 75, of Whitehouse, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2018 at White House Health Care.
Charles was born on December 6, 1942, in Columbia, Tennessee to Marie Perry Williams. His family originated in the Mt. Pleasant community and still has the family homeplace there. Charles served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Ther he learned his lifelong trade - auto mechanics. He spent the rest of his working life at the Ford Dealership in Nashville.
Outdoors, especially boating, NASCAR, and the UT Vols were some of his favorite activities and hobbies. He also loved his son and grandchildren very much. While Charles was a loner, the one place where he enjoyed going on a regular basis was the American Legion to spend time with fellow veterans. He was of the Methodist faith, having grown up at First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include: his son: Charles W (Elisabeth) Perry, Jr.; grandchildren: Leeamber Marie Perry and Breanna Jane Lashea Perry; and sister: Jo Francis Perry. He was preceded in death by his mother: Marie Perry Williams.
