Clara M. Egan, 93, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at NHC Maury Regional.
She was born in Washington County, Virginia on December 6, 1925 to the late Jesse P. McNew and Leatha C. McNew. She retired from the City of Chattanooga after 35 years of service.
She is survived by nephew: Lee (Kim) Duff; great-niece: Natalie (Zach) Craig; great-nephew: Adison (Mary Beth) Duff; great great-niece: Cora Mae Duff; and great great-nephew: Alexander L. Duff. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harry Egan; sister: Mildred O. Duff; and brother-in-law: Willis G. Duff.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Polk Memorial Gardens. Entombment to follow.
