Connie Lynn Bardwell of Summertown passed away on January 8, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center at the age of 49.
Connie was born September 24, 1969 to the late Eddie Arlen Whitehead and Maggie Ann Jones Hamilton in Columbia, Tennessee. She loved her daughters and grandbabies with all her heart and often referred to them as “my girls” and “gannie’s loves”. She had numerous children that she loved as her own, especially Megan and Ellis. She enjoyed watching her daughters play ball, visiting the beach and mountains with family, and Alabama football.
Connie is survived by daughters; Erica Whitehead of Mt Pleasant and Jessica (Michael) Wherry of Hohenwald, granddaughters; Cambria Wherry and Lynslee Wherry; granddog; Bella, sisters; Sherry (David) Smith of Mt Pleasant, Christy (Nolan) Derryberry of Summertown, lifelong friend; Sandra Stefan and special aunt; Linda Morton and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister; Carrie Ann Whitehead and stepmother; Margie Whitehead.
Services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia, Tennessee at 2:00 pm with Bob Vassar officiating. Interment following at Blowing Springs Cemetery in Mt Pleasant, Tennessee. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank the cancer center doctors and nurses at Maury Regional Medical Center as well as the 3rd floor nurses and all other people who contributed to her receiving exceptional care.
