Connie Fay Madia

Connie Fay Madia sadly passed away on May 6th, 2021, in her home surrounded by loved ones in Mt. Pleasant, TN. Connie was born on August 9th, 1957, to the late Wilburn Gooch Shaffer and Audrey Christine Allen Shaffer.

Connie is a vibrant, fun-loving, people person. She loved to surround herself with her family and friends, enjoying some laughs, fellowship, and great food. Being the social butterfly that she was and having a big heart for others, made Connie the faithful friend you always needed by your side. Her way of spreading love was through her cooking and will be missed the most.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 9th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A service will be held on the following day on Monday, May 10th at 12:00 PM, with two hours of visitation prior to service time. Burial will follow at their family Shaffer Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.

Connie is preceded in death by her son: Jason Dean Glass; brother: Little Charlie Shaffer; and sister: Carolyn Shaffer.

Connie is survived by her two boys: Charles David Lane Webb and Johnny Earl Glass; devoted, caring friend: Donald “Duck” Ray Glass; siblings: Tommy Shaffer, Debbie Mckennon, Clara Nell White, George Shaffer, and Linda Perry; grandchildren: Christian Tyler Glass, Madison Elizabeth Glass, Dionna Likia Webb, Charles David Lane Webb II, and Lisa Danielle Lee’anna Webb; and several nieces and nephews.
