Cory “Dory” Michael Shiflett, age 32, sadly passed away too soon on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2021 in Nashville, TN. He was born on a chilly, Valentine’s Day in 1989 to Michele Nussbaum and Michael Shiflett.
Cory was known as “the Funny Guy”. He could brighten up any room with one witty, comical sentence. He would do what he could to cheer anyone up, that was just a part of his nature. Cory adored the children of his family and friends, they commonly referred to him as “Uncle Dory”. Cory had a kind heart and a warm spirit, and he will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life for Cory will be held at Legends Restaurant on June 26th, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
Cory is survived by his parents Michele and Mike Nussbaum; siblings: Amanda Shiflett, Toby Shiflett, and Angie Shiflett; nephews: Hunter Gibson and Dallas Cole; and niece: Kennedy Cole.
