Edith Stanley Brooks went to her heavenly home with Jesus on Sunday, August 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at home.
She walked with God and loved and served the Lord all the days of her life. She led many souls to the Lord. She was a beloved mother and sister. She was kind, gentle, and loving. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, August 2nd.
She is survived by her sister, Sarah S. Price; daughters: Barbara Patterson and Nicki (Mark) Ray; grandchildren: Ashley Patterson, Patrick Patterson, Cody Ray, and Rachel Ray. She was preceded in death by her son John C. Wheeler and sister Becky Stanley Rutland.
The family requests that no flowers be sent.
