Wayne is survived by his sons, Edward Tanksley (Kimberly), Jeffery Bryant, and Paul Perger

Grandsons: Bryce Nicholson,Terry Tanksley, and Marley Pennington
Granddaughter, Dixie Baggett
Sisters, Judi Hamilton, Vanessa Coleman, and Donna May Morris
Brother, Barry Bates.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard E. Tanksley.
