Erika Foster “Sunshine” Odom of Columbia, Tennessee passed on November 22, 2019.
Erika was born on July 20, 1969 to Bill Foster and the late Rachel Alderson Foster in Sumter, South Carolina. She enjoyed scrapbooking, loved a great meal with friends, spending time at home with family, and vacationing at the beach and the mountains. She was a long term employee of Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation in the County Accounting Department.
Erika is survived by her husband: Chris Odom; daughters: Caitlyn Odom and Rebecca Odom; brothers: David (Kim) Foster of Winchester and Craig (Missy) Foster of Hartsville, South Carolina; nieces and nephews: Mitchell Foster, Meredith Foster, Maegan Foster, Ashley Odom Parker, Amber Odom, Megan Odom, and Shane Odom; brothers-in-law: Ken Odom and Gary (Sudie) Odom; her father: Bill (Anne) Foster; mother/father-in-law: Johnny and Shirley Odom; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother: Rachel Alderson Foster.
Services will be Monday, November 25, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ricky Cotton and David Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Family will visit with friends on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Active Pallbearers are: Mitchell Foster, Larry Alderson, Gary Odom, Ken Odom, and cousins.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Kim Alderson, (My Ride or Die Friend), Kim Akins, Rhonda Humphrey, Christina Kennedy, Missy Phillips, Teresa Ray, Teresa Ragsdale, Tina Rogers, Laura Stubblefield, and doctors, nurses, and staff of Tennessee Oncology and her cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
