Ethridge "Sister" Elese Copeland

Ethridge “Sister” McKennon Copeland, 94, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care.
Sister was born on January 14, 1926 to the late Bud McKennon and Inez Odom McKennon in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Sister is the late wife of Charlie Lee Copeland.She enjoyed being with her grandkids and family surrounded by spreads of food. Sister loved cooking, gardening, and fishing. You could find sister still mowing her yard into her late 80’s. But Sister was known for her biscuits that she made with her husband, Charlie, every morning and she would sell them at MB Henson Grocery Store. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Arlington Cemetery with Lyn Stacey officiating.
Sister is survived by her sons, Bobby (Judy) Copeland and Timmy (Jewel Ann) Copeland; Grandchildren, Phillip (Scarlett) Copeland, Sharon Copeland, Marsha (Zach) Townsend, Heather (Shawn) Berryhill, Tara (Lyn) Stacey, and Tanner Copeland; Great Grandchildren, Charley Copeland, Taylor Copeland, Bailey Allen, Berkley Allen, Tilden Copeland, Lane Stacey, Reagan Berryhill, Mary Grace Stacey, and Colt Stacey; Sisters, Ina Ruth McKennon Boshers and Susie Chatman. In addition to her parents and husband, Sister is preceded in death by son, Danny Copeland.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Copeland, Tanner Copeland, Bailey Allen, Tilden Copeland, Lane Stacey, and Colt Stacey.
