Gary Wayne Tripp, age 60 of Lawrenceburg, passed away on January 1, 2020 at NHC Lawrenceburg.
Gary was born January 13, 1959 in Columbia, the son of the late Melvin Ozro Tripp and Hassie Elma Giles Tripp. Gary was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting deer and fishing. He was known for being a self-employed handyman - he could do it all. He loved his grandbabies dearly and they were his world.
Survivors include his children, Jessica (Jeremy) Kennedy and Erik (Samantha) Tripp, both of Summertown; grandchildren, Justin Kennedy, Katie Kennedy, Riley Kennedy, Nathan Kennedy, Makenzie Tripp and Casen Tripp; one sister and three brothers along with one niece, several nephews and numerous friends. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one sister.
The family will have a memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life at a later date.
