Irene Hollis Bolton

Irene Hollis Bolton, of 203 Lookout Drive, died July 7, 2018 at NHC Columbia.
Irene was born on June 12, 1933 to Percy J. and Cleathel Priscilla Barnett Hollis. She married James A. Bolton on September 19, 1948, they were married for 55 years.
Together, Irene and James had four children: Carol (Jimmy) Sanders of Cumming, GA, Jannie Garrett, of Nashville, TN, Jim Jr. (Vanessa) Bolton of Columbia, TN and Monica Dianne (Robert) Ford of Cumberland Gap, TN; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Irene had three brothers: Bob, Bill and Dan Hollis. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Kinzer.
Irene was an original member of First Freewill Baptist of Mount Pleasant. She retired from Dixie Manufacturing after 30 years. She spent years bowling at Columbia Lanes and enjoyed her garden and weekly yard sales.
The Bolton family will visit with friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. BJ Bolton officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are James Ray Bolton, Mike Bolton, Phillip Obrien, Curtis
Hollis, David Grooms and Jimmy Sanders Jr.
