James Barker, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at his home.
James was born to the late James Courtney Barker and Nora Mai Roberts Barker on October 27, 1945, in Maury County, Tennessee.
James was a caring man in so many ways. He loved his animals and his family. He would do anything for anyone and would stop everything to make sure it was done. James worked at Bob’s Shoe Outlet for 40 years as a shoe cobbler and a sales associate. When he went into town, he was always greeted by people who knew him. James will be missed by all who knew him.
James was preceded in death by loving wife: Linda Barker; his parents; and son at birth: Clifton Alan Barker.
James was survived by his daughter: Vikki Bolton (Harry) and grandchildren: Nora and Nina Bolton.
A celebration of life for James will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee with William Owens officiating.
