James R. Bibbee

James R. Bibbee, age 85, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
James was born March 6, 1934 in Charleston, WV, the son of the late Estel George Bibbee and Lillie Gannon Bibbee. On December 24, 1966, he married Pluma Ucola Hall Bibbee. James worked for Caterpillar Tractor for 25 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving proudly in the Korean War. James was hardworking, having helped family construct their homes before he entered the Armed Services. He and his wife enjoyed planting their vegetable garden and canning the produce. One of James’ favorite pastimes was sipping iced tea while sitting under his favorite oak tree. He loved and adored all of his neighbors.
Survivors include his wife Pluma Ucola Bibbee of Pulaski; his children, Charles (Shirley) Epperson, Sharon Daily, Zondra (Billy) Downen, Teresea (Robert) Potier and Lillie (Michael) Mongello; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren , along with his beloved brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Patrick Bowler and Drew Daily.
James will be inurned in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois at a later date.
