James Howard Chapman

James Howard Chapman, age 77, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his residence in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

James was born on July 10, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee to Lester and Beatrice Odom Chapman. James married Rosemary Boshears on September 3, 1963. He was a joy to be around. James never stopped until you had a smile on your face. He was a gentle soul, full of life, and had a laugh big as life!

The family will visit with friends and family on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Trent Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.

James is survived by his wife Rosemary Chapman; children Mark (Lynn) Chapman, Melissa (Michael) Flick, and Christopher (Pam) Chapman; grandchildren Laura Hall, Ashley Clinton, Cody Chapman, Chyenne Chapman, Kristin Pritulsky, Al Flick, Jessica Flick, Madison Flick, Teri Sawyer, and Shawn Felts; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Beatrice Chapman; siblings Lester Chapman Jr, Thomas D. Chapman, Shelby Harris, Bonnie Wirt, Vivian Shomo, Delores Brooks, and Patricia Chapman; and one granddaughter Julie Luxton.
