James (Jim) George Phetteplace, age 73, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

His greatest hobby, and also his primary vocation, was fine finish carpentry. Jim was well known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. Jim was also well known for his hospitality. He would always say there was plenty of room and food for you to stay.
