Joan Ann Malocsay, age 81, passed away in her home here in Columbia, TN.
Joan was born in Suffern, New York, on January 11, 1938, to the late Arthur Milton and Vivian Marie Kent. With a degree in education, Joan Ann spent her life teaching.
Joan is survived by her family here in Columbia: cousins: John (Debra) Totty, Jessica (Jared) Sweeney, Marisa Totty, Carter, Isaac, and Vivian Sweeney.
The family will lay Joan to rest at Westwood Cemetery in Harrington Park, New Jersey, Friday, January 10, 2020. A service will proceed with the burial beginning at 1:00 pm.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Joan’s closest friends, who cared for her during her time of sickness, traveled with her, helped her and just in general loved.
