Jody Marie Brewer, age 52, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Jody was born March 7, 1967, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John Rider and the late Stella Kownacki. Jody after graduating high school entered into the United States Army. Following her honorable service, Jody worked for many years dedicating her time to Disabled American Veterans. Though she had great dedication and love for her country and its veterans her greatest passion was her family. She was the most wonderful mother a child could have and a loving wife. She loved spending time with her family and traveling with them especially to Key West. Jody was an incredible person and she is loved and will be dearly missed.
Jody is survived by her husband: Chad Brewer; daughter: Stella Nicole Fredrick (Joseph) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Donya (Brad) Johnson; granddaughters: Anzlaya, Kayleigh and Ellie; grandson: Bryson; sister: Terri Cummings of Michigan; and 3 brothers: Joe Rider of Michigan, Gary Rider of Michigan, and John Rider of New Jersey. Preceded in death by her in-laws: Grady and Iva Dean Brewer.
There will be a memorial service for Jody 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Mickey Bracken officiating.
