Karen Williams Phillips of Cornersville, Tennessee passed away at Maury Regional Medical Center on April 25, 2019, at the age of 61.
Karen was born August 5, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Ray and Pauline Eakin Carter. She was a loving wife and mother, always putting her family first, and the best “Nanna” to her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. She attended Life Song Church in Lewisburg.
She is survived by sons: James Williams, Russell (Jessica) Williams and Bobby Coggins; daughters: Ashley Williams, Laura Dee Buchanan and Sandy Cross; sisters: Lucy (Ricky) Carter and Shirley (John) Key; brothers: Ray (Angie) Carter and Tommy Carter; and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son: Charles Williams.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
