Kathleen Frances Bender, age 49, of Maury County, passed away on Thursday, October 24, after almost 2 years of recovery from a stroke.
Kathy (Kat) was born January 28, 1970 on Eglin, AFB, FL, the daughter of the late Burriss (Skip) and the late Dona Bender. She was a 1988 graduate of Spring Hill High School.
Prior to being under care, she was a service industry representative working at food and service station establishments. She also had begun training as an at home caregiver.
Survivors include her brothers: Ken Bender (Maria) of Las Vegas, NV and Keith Bender of Madison, TN as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Bender family will receive friends on Friday, November 1, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home for an intimate service.
