Kathryn Joann Amos

Kathryn JoAnn Amos, age 85, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on September 25, 2018 at her residence.

JoAnn was born on June 12, 1933 to the late Stanley and Eleanor Brock. She was a loving, selfless woman who always had a beautiful warm smile to greet those she loved and all those she met. She would help everyone that she could. She enjoyed her family and making memories with those she loved. JoAnn and her husband enjoyed 30 years of retirement together; during this time, they enjoyed travelling to 48 states, the only states they did not make it to were Alaska and Wisconsin. She retired after over 25 years in education. She was a member of the St. Luke Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, Moose Club and VFW.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Gail (David) Little; grandson, Kenny (Heather) Little, granddaughter, Kerri (Jason) Hughes; great grandchildren, Ashton Little, Kaylie Little and Jaxon Hughes; sisters, Nancy, Tammy and Dawn and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Amos and daughter, Connie Amos.

The family will visit with friends on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. also at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Kenny Little, Jason Hughes, Jaxon Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Ronald Plant, Curt Amos, Ron Amos and Benjamin Bradley.
