    Kenneth Charles Little

    August 3, 1945 - July 4, 2021

Kenneth Charles Little, age 75, a resident of Columbia, passed away July 4th, 2021 at home. Ken was born on August 3rd, 1945 in Wayne County, Michigan, to Helen and Charles Little of Westland, Michigan. Ken was the beloved husband to Sharon Austin Little for fifty-two years. He served in the army during the Vietnam war, and worked as an electrician for General Motors/Saturn for over 30 years. In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by five children, David Little, Joshua Little, Sarah Little Crawford, Ruth Little Gordon, Katie Little Theuer, and sons-in-law, Tony Crawford and Ryan Theuer. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Taylor, Jake, Peyton, Reece, Ace, Thatcher, Zoey, Andrew, Austin, and Shepherd (and new baby Kent due shortly). Ken was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, Heidi Little, Loretta Daley, Andrew Little, John Little, Patrick Little, and Daniel Little. Ken enjoyed serving in many aspects, particularly for his church, Grace Church of the Nazarene, where he participated as a choir member, small group member, and food pantry volunteer. Ken’s faithful service to the church goes decades, teaching Royal Rangers at his church in Michigan, leading small groups, teaching Sunday school, volunteering with prison ministries, going on mission trips, and volunteering in many other capacities. Most recently, Ken was dedicated to his role faithfully serving the Gideons. Ken enjoyed tennis and a good game of pinochle, but second to his love of Jesus Christ was his love for his family. Spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren brought much joy to Ken over the years, and he rarely started a visit without a hug or ended it without a front porch send-off. Services will be conducted at Williams Funeral Home, on July 10th, 2021 at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held Friday, July 9th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow to Polk Memorial Gardens. The Gideons International group was an organization that Ken held very near and dear to his heart, memorial donations and contributions can be made in honor of Ken to the Gideons South Camp P.O. Box 1764 Columbia, TN 38402. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences can be given to the family by visiting us at www.williamsfh.com
