Kevin Scott Clanton

Kevin “Scott” Clanton, age 51, passed away on May 12, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Scott was born on July 15, 1969 to Estelle Clanton and the late Jerry Allen Clanton in Toledo, Ohio.
Scott was a kind man who had biggest heart anyone would come by. If you needed help, he would always try and find a way to be there even when he was sick. When he wasn’t out helping his friends, you could find him on the back porch, listening to the dogs run or trying to spot a deer. He was an avid fan of the Andy Griffith Show and would watch old reruns all the time. More than anything he loved playing with all his “grandboys” as he would call them. He adored the time he got to spend with them and his family.
Scott is preceded by his father; brothers: Darryl Wade Clanton and Jerry Brent Clanton; maternal grandmother: Levy Norman; and nephew: Gerry Lane Clanton.
Scott is survived by his mother: Estelle Clanton; daughter: Kelly (Herman) Dunn; son Kevin Joe (Cassie) Clanton; stepson: Corey Dye); grandsons: Trenton Royal Clanton, Aaron Dunn, and Cash Clanton; stepgrandson: Everett Bates; niece: Tiffany Rachelle Martin; aunt: Judy Mullens; and a host of cousins and friends.
A service will be held at a later date.
