July 10, 1950 — August 11, 2018

Larry Duane Purvis, age 68, finished his race on August 11, 2018 surrounded by his family at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Larry’s life began on July 10, 1950, in Frankfort, Indiana, born to the late Charles and Libby Purvis. He is a graduate of Indiana University. As a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene, he served as a Sunday school teacher, small group leader, and in the Food Pantry.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Larry loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them cooking, golfing, going to ball games and the lake, or any excuse to be with his family and friends.
