Mary Alice Parsons, age 86, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Alice was born on December 15, 1933 in Maury County, Tennessee to the late James H. Jones and Gertrude Adams Jones. She was married to the late William “Peck” Wayne Parsons.
The family will visit with friends and family on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Alice is survived by her children Loretta (Ricky) Byrd and Patricia (Tony) Davis; grandchildren William Wayne Byrd, Kathryn Elizabeth Byrd, Jason (Jenny) Davis, and Holly (Wil) Watkins; siblings Sara (Sonny) Cummins, James E. Jones, and Ray Alton (Jane) Jones; and six great grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, William Parsons and parents James and Gertrude Jones.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Ben Gardner and the staff of Hospice Compassus for their loving care.
