Michael Wayne Murphy, age 77, passed away Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee.
Michael was born on June 19th, 1944 to the late Gus C. and Ercie Marie Tabor Murphy in New Madrid, Missouri.
Michael was a loving husband, father, brother, and great “Paw”. He truly loved his family with his whole heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Anna Louise Murphy, and brother: Gus C. Murphy, Jr.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie Murphy; special mother-in-law: Claudine Woods; siblings: Lila (Jackie) Tanner and Joseph Allen Murphy; children: Michael Shawn (Brecka Johns) Murphy, and Shanna Marie (Jason) Gibbs; grandchildren: Jasmine Taleece Murphy, Derrick Drew Murphy, Hunter Ty Murphy, Mathew Trey Murphy, Nathan Tate Murphy; great-grandchildren: Jayden Michael Murphy, Jace Malachi Murphy, Draco Ali Murphy, Memphis Wayne Murphy, Kaycen Reed Gibbs, and with more to come.
Michael will be so deeply missed.
