Michael William Douglas Rees passed away early last week. Michael was a resident of Mt. Pleasant; he was 43 years old.
Michael was born December 26, 1976, in Joliet, Illinois, to his parents Michael and Rita Rees, who survive him. He was a graduate of UT Martin with a degree in Business Finance. He worked hard in construction building decks. He was adored and loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed life, family members, and many friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others. Michael will be missed by many but especially his Yorkie, Charlie.
He is survived by his son Zachary Michael Rees; daughter Mallory Alexis Rees; sister: Erica (Jason) Hazen; nephew: Blake Hazen. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A service in Michael’s memory will take place at a later time.
